What the hell is wrong with painting a huge dude green?

So many goddamn directors go into making science fiction these day with the notion "if it isn't CGI, no one will believe it" so they go in and use CGI in places where there are more realistic practical effects... just to use CGI. And it comes out so ugly.

There should be some sort of pact signed by action directors:

"I will only use CGI when there is no other way to create the effect... because CGI looks like crap."
