I read that article this morning, also. I proceeded to send Reading Rainbow an e-mail, suggesting that they try something akin to the Save Farscape campaign. That way, instead of looking for one wealthy philanthropist, they'll get help from the people who grew up on the show. Maybe we don't have a lot of money individually, but together, we can pull together quite a bit! I know I'd contribute some money to trying to save the show.
I don't know if they'll listen, but keep an eye out for info on it!
