: ~~ I've actually done that! You can't imagine the frenzy!!
: I'm on a new kick now wth the books...I did Taming the Seahorse and then Crimson
: Joy by parker and I had to break it and go for a crazed girly English book called
: Sisteryia by Susan Margolis! I haven't decided whether it makes me think men are
: as thick as can be or the women are!!!
Women and men typically have a deep misunderstanding of each other, because we think differently. For something to compare it to, think about how your view of the world was when you were 15, and what your parent's view was. neither was wrong, but they were pretty different. At least, that's my opinion. On to ther news. I just finished Snow Crash (love that book, hard to believe it was started in the late-80's and finished early-90's), and picked up American Gods by Gaiman, on crazyjane's recommendation. I've got a library card and a fairly good library system to use around here, so I'll probably read a lot this summer.
My favorite authors are mostly English, I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's the great slang and loose style. I love Douglas Adams. I was very sad to hear of his death; not just because he wouldn't write anymore, but because I spoke to him once through e-mail, and he seemed to be a genuinely good person, with lots to say to the world.
That's it for tonight. G'Night, fluffy.
