I am suffering from Norwich City withdrawl, so I'm taking the most iconic "soccer" films ever and giving it the remake treatment. If you want to exchange soccer for American football or basketball, you're welcome to.

1. The setting- World War 2
2. The team- (3 5 2)

Brad Friedel (Blackburn Rovers)

Marco Materazzi (Inter) Steven Seagal Malky Mackay (Norwich)

Adam Drury (Norwich City) Vinnie Jones Edgar Davids Beckham (Man Utd)

Thierry Henry (Arsenal)

Eric Cantona (Man Utd) Ronaldo (Brazil)

Coached by: Michael Caine!

The opposing team would include Arnold Schwarzenneger, Jean Claude Van Damme, Dennis Hopper, Matt Serengi (Ipshit), Venus (Ipshit), Martin reuser (Ipshit),Hugo Weaving, and would naturally be captained by Christopher Walken, who would direct the team purely with eye movement.

2. Final result? The Allies win on penalties, before a giant kung fu face off.

I hate Ipswich, they had Ipshit players in the original, but not on my team.
