: 1. Name or explain a childhood fear.

Once, while in New Hampshire, I saw a boat sink. It was a small skiff and it wasn't far from the pier. When it came to rest it was still visible. It was kind of freaky and made me a bit afraid of being in a boat. But I got over it.

: 2. What is one of your biggest fears in life now?

I am afraid of losing someone close to me. Not a particular person, but anoy I love. I sometimes worry that they'll be driving somewhere and they have an accident or something. Stuff like that.

: 3. What's the scariest/most disturbing film you've ever seen in the tenure of your life? I mean, this stunk in your head days afterwards...

It's a tie. "JAWS" & "The Exorcist". I still have a fear of being attacked by a shark and "The Exorcist" is simply the scariest movie EVER.

: 4. What do you do to take your mind off of things that upset you?

Sleep. If I can't sleep? Work.

: 5. Do you do anything somewhat superstitious "just in case?" Explain.

When I was a kid a relative used to blow the car horn for luck as we passed through tunnels. I still do it, though not in the Lincoln or the Holland.

: 6. Name or explain something dangerous you've done that you knew was dangerous.

I once held someone, by an ankle, off a balcony with one hand. As for dangerous to myself... I walked a decrepit train trestle (like in "Stand By Me") over the Delaware.

: 7. Very morbid question: Have you ever been in a situation where the thought crossed your mind, even if for a brief moment, that you might honestly die (i.e. surgery, accident, gun to your head, etc)? Explain if you feel up to it.

I slipped once when mountain climbing. Fell a good 25 feet. I think that may explain my fear of heights.

: 8. Tension breaker question: If you were a super hero, what would your weakness be?

Umm, my fear of heights as described above. So no flying or standing atop skyscrapers for me.
