Actually, any time you can get good friends together and play tunes, it's a good time.
Lots of days can be made just by putting on the right record. For example, kick off a mellow Saturday with Hot Tuna's "Burgers" or Jerry Jeff Walker's "Viva Terlingua"; a get busy day with J Geils Band "Full House" or the Stones "Sticky Fingers"; or a really lazy rainy Sunday with Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" or Miles Davis' "Sketches of Spain"
