: 1) Favorite FOLK singer, MALE:
Not really into folk, so I'll say Bob Dylan.
: 1b) FEMALE:
Joan Baez(?)
: 2) Best looking Rock Star from the 60/70s (then):
Nancy Sinatra, Grace Slick or the skinny one from The Mamas & The Papas (Michelle Phillips?). Not much of a selection, but that's all I could think of now.
: 2b) Best looking Rock Star from the 60/70s (now):
The Mamas & The Papas one.
: 3) Sonic Youth: Yay or Nay? (If YES, please follow up with your fav song/album of theirs)
Yay! I've always been partial to "Goo" (album) & "Kool Thing" (song from same album). "Yeah....tell 'em 'bout it! Hit 'em where it hurts!"
: 4) Radio: Yay or Nay? (If YAY, please describe the types of stations you may listen to)
Radio sucks. It's just like MTV w/out the visuals. Though I'm glad for some stations that don't play top 40.
: 5) Your favorite RADIOHEAD album:
Not into them too much, but I like the one w/"Fake Plastic Trees"(?) on it.
: 6) Ska: Any SKA bands you like?
I had a friend in "State of Emergency". They were good, but are disbanded now (I think). He went to be in "Jack Rabbit Slim".
: 7) SOLO: Peter Gabriel or Phil Collins?
Pete
: 7b) Speaking of 80s music, do they still sell those keyboards that could be worn like guitars? Not really poll question I guess...unless you want to give me your opinion on them.
You mean a "Key-tar"? I hope not. It brings back bad memories of those groups.
: AND FINALLY, THE INEVITABLE BEATLES QUESTION:
: 8) The Beatles song you remember most (or reminds you most) from your childhood, and why:
Toughie...I never listened to them until high school. And I don't have a song that reminds me of my childhood. So I'll go with a song that could be played at my funeral - "In My Life".
