: ...I'm a bit drunk so please excuse sloppy spelling/grammar etc!
: Well, today is a beautiful sunny summers day in my part of the world,
quite fitting because I've just returned from the funeral of one of my
most summer loving party going friends.
: Like Volksgirl said the other week, I didn't think (bar the odd poll
question) that I'd ever post REALLY personal stuff on this board, and I
hope I'm not taking the piss by doing so - but everyone else I'd talk to
about this stuff is still at the wake and I had to come home at some
point to look after my children!
: As I've just said, I've been to a friends funeral - you really shouldn't
have to attend the funeral of anyone of your own generation until
you're well into your grey and wrinkly years, but life and death make
strange choices between themselves.
: Three weeks ago this friend, Martin, was in a car crash and
sustained some pretty major injuries - head trauma and a punctured
lung)BUT! He recovered so well, to the point where he was
supposedly coming home this week. He died suddenly on Friday,
the autopsy was unable to determine the cause of death and his
family will have to wait until September when further analysis has
been completed.
: I'm not sure what I hope to achieve by posting this, but seeing as I
talk to most of you nearly every day, I do consider you friends, and I
just needed to vent!
: Thanks for reading!
: Lisa
