When we went to see Tenacious D film Last Call with Carson Daly, he came off OK. Bland, as has already been mentioned, but not an asshole. If he'd been an asshole, I think the D would have torn him a new one, but they didn't. They actually looked like they were having a pretty good time.
It was really the only exposure to the guy I've ever had; that bullshit he did on MTV started after I'd already completely given up watching the channel.
