I read on one of my friend's journals today that the great Kevin Smith had died. She made references to Smith's movies and career. I was, to say the least, shocked. I didn't know what to think! So I did a little research with trusty old google, and made a few stops before I found an answer. The View Askew site had no news of Smith's death - which I thought was rather odd, considering - so - I kept searching, and sure enough - I found a blurb on the death of one actor named Kevin Smith.
It turns out that this Kevin Smith was also an actor. Apparently, he died from a fall he had in China.
Why the hell am I posting all this? Well, the reason is simple. I wanted to make sure that when the rumours hit the rest of you, you would be in the know - it's not 'our' Kevin, but some other guy. Oh well. Too bad. :)
