but at mine (Wayland-Cohocton Central), it went:
grades k-4 (age 5-10) elementary school
grades 5-8 (age 10-14) middle school
grades 9-12 (age 14-18) high school
then on to...college!!! (or the military, or the work force...whatever floats yer boat)
