: : ~~since mine was yesterday....he took the day off of work, cleaned the whole house, mowed the lawn (our back yard is huge and on a huge hill), got rid of the shit in the back that was left there by the contractors since before we moved in, picked me up a dozen roses and took me out to my favorite italian restaurant. afterward, we stopped at carvel to pick up my icecream cake and went home. my mom and some friends stopped by to 'celebrate'. after they left i promply fell asleep.
: : damn allergies.
: Sorry to hear your allergies conked you out, but that's one fine man you've got there! It's great that he did all that stuff for you!
: (Of course, it would be better if they did it all of the time, instead of one swell foop to impress us, but hey - you take what you can get)
: I'm single, but even when I'm not, I've never had a guy willing to do all that!
~~he treats me better than ive ever been treated!! its not so much that he did it cause it was my birthday, hes just always working. he usually cleans for me too but since we are supposed to have a bbq on sat i needed that shit out of the yard and since i live with 3 guys (him being one of them) me, being a girl, was not going to do it. so he finally just took a day off and did it for me. and the food at the restaurant was outstanding!!! oh, and my flowers are beautiful!! he said my real present is coming this weekend after he gets paid so who knows......!!!
(and yet another 'present' was one of my roommates girlfriend bought a new shower liner and bath mat and scrubbed the bathroom floor to ceiling. i hadnt had the money to pick up a new liner so the old one was pretty nasty. and the reason i call that a present, 1. cause now I dont have to do it and 2. she doesnt live there so in a sense she really doesnt have to do it. i told her that since she is there ALL the time that what she did just bought her 2 more weeks of 'free, happy' stay at the house.)
