Like jkm822 pointed out a few posts down, it's nice living near/in NYC.
Most of the famous people I've met are athletes, but there's a few actors and musicians...
Baseball players- Jeff Hammonds (went to high school with him), Mookie Wilson, Tim Teuful, John Franco, Kevin McReynolds.
McReynolds sticks out in my mind the most because I filled the gas tank of his RV right as the baseball strike was beginning. I was working at a gas station between years of college. He was really cool, so was Mookie...
From the New York Rangers-Petr Nedved, Jeff Beukeboom, Esa Tikkanen, Mark Messier, Todd Harvey, Mike Richter...I met most of them, I could go on and on. I will say this, hockey players in general are the nicest I've met.
Musicians/Actors-Pat DiNizio from the Smithereens (lives couple of houses away), Hank Azaria-met him in Penn Station, Steve Martin- by the Met, Jackie Mason at the Carnegie Deli (no joke).
Met a lot of chefs Johnson & Wales also- Emeril, Martin Yan, Paul Prudhomme, and Julia Child. I'm forgetting some....oh well...
