:: I'm a huge fan of Stephen King, and I've read alot of his stuff and have seen most of his movies. I loved the Regulators, but couldn't get into Desperation. The Stand was a great book, but the movie wasn't all that good. They cut out alot of key elements and even combined some characters into one person, which was really strange.
As for the Dark Tower series, I read the Gunslinger a few years ago but try as I might the second book was unavailable in New Brunswick. They sold the third and fourth books in the series but weren't selling the second. I moved 4 thousand miles from home and finally found the second book. Now I just have to read them!
