...so-so on the books. I've read them all, and it was a labor at times. The Two Towers was very boring at times in my opinion. I put it down for a month or so before finishing it. I also didn't care for the character Tom Bombadil, and found myself skipping most of those stupid songs that are in the stories. I really like the plot, but the books were sorta cumbersome.
