sad!! but do you know how that expression "raining cats and dogs" came about? well let me tell you....
way way back when, when the houses had dirt floors (we are talking xena era here), the cats and dogs would climb up ontop of the roof to 1. get the warm sunshine and 2. (well i dont quite remember what 2 is but i know that they were ontop of the roofs---the houses werent that tall anyway!!). but when it rained, the roofs would get slippery , and the cats and dogs would slip off and fall to the ground, hence, raining cats and dogs!!
and if its any consolation....my cat wont sleep through the morning UNLESS i give him a bath that night!!!! what a weirdo!
: Literally.
: I'm sitting in my office and it's pouring. Suddenly I hear something sliding down the roof and a cat falls past the window.
: Now I know what's it's like to do drugs.
: P.S. It's only two stories, and yes I checked and the cat seems fine if not very, very muddy and soaked.
