: Going to see it tonight...worth my nine bucks?

I caught it last weekend...One work review: SLICK

Most importantly, taking in Charlize Theron w/ a nice tan was 9 bucks well spent as far as I am concerned...There are tons of well deserved close-up of the movie babe...That being said, the movie was entertaining despite it's flaws...

Like, I said, the movie is slick, complete with some cool action sequences and car chases...Although not big on plot, the movie is enjoyable...

Edward Norton has publicly stated that he wanted nothing to do with the film...(but did so for fear of litigation from Paramount, since he has passed on so many scipts they have thrown his way despite a 3 picture deal he signed a while back)...But he is solid as usual...

I didn't really dig Wahlberg all that much, even though he hails from my neck of the woods...His dialogue seemed a bit forced (maybe it's just me)...

Seth Green is very enjoyable and funny in the flick...

Who doesn't like Donald Sutherland? He is an asset as well...

Mos Def also turns in a nice performance...

Being a big Jason Statham fan, I thought he was cool as "Handsome Rob"...

Overall, I'll give it a 7.5...with 1.5 of that attributed to Charlize...(I'm a sucker for blondes!)

Tom
