I've been threatened - seriously, no fucking around, THREATENED - for saying that. I'm sorry, but I never thought Kurt Cobain was any kind of genius. He was in the right place at the right time, and that's it. I think Grohl has proven himself to be far more talented and interesting and ENTERTAINING than Cobain could ever have managed.
Sorry about your dad, though. Rob was the first person I'd known who'd actually gone through with it. I was a wreck for months, and he was just a friend. I can't imagine what you went through.
