is go to a bookstore and buy a Diamond Buyer's Guide. everything to need to know about diamonds, and what to look for, and prices, will be in there. don't listen to other people's advice, because what they did worked for them, and it may not suit you best. i recently bought a diamond engagement ring for my gf, so i've been through it and know what i'm talking about. go buy the guide and read up on the 4 C's, and jewelry store tricks. buy the guide! GO NOW!
