: big rock...you can get a pretty marquis cut with 7 or so stones totalling about one carat for $1000...a lot of girls (like me) don't like a big rock...and if you get her 7 diamonds, you can tell her there's one for every day of week...shit like that gets you laid. Look at anniversary bands and so forth, not just engagement rings...some of the cuter designs are called anniversary bands. Be sure whatever you get is sizeable...some rings with patterns really aren't...
