: Pro-Pain,
Wow, haven't heard that name in some time. I used to play in a death metal band called Rest In Pain, and we covered their song "the truth hurts".
:Pantera...
I thought Reinventing the steel was pretty weak.
:Gn'R
There is no G'n'R anymore. Oh, YOU mean AXL ROSE and some other guys. No thanks. Having said that, I heard the new stuff from Slash, Matt, Duff and Scott Weiland the other day. It wasn't so great either...
: This happens to me quite a bit actually...Metallica, after the Black album, the Black Crowes after By your Side, Iron Maiden, Rush, Beastie Boys....
I take it you didn't like St. Anger either? To me it sounds like a mix between Garage Days Re-revisited, Load, Down's NOLA and Sepultura's CHAOS AD. Which isn't such a bad thing. But honestly, I'm a super fan, James could probably fart in the mic for 80 minutes and I'd defend it.
The only Beastie Boys album I didn't much care for was Paul's Boutique, which is funny cause that's the one that most music critics cite as their best. Whatever, I found it boring.
