OK, a long while back on the board, someone suggested reading Chabon's "Adventures of Kavalier & Clay". Anyway, I wrote it down, bought it... and haven't read it yet. But, I did pick up a book called "Lucky Wander Boy" by D. B. Weiss, and this is one of the inside blurbs: "D. B. Weiss does for video games what Michael Chabon did for comics in 'Kavalier & Clay', explore the development of a new medium by telling a beautiful story." There is also a blurb by Will Wright (Mr. Sims for the uninitiated) saying he captured the art of video games perfectly. I've only read the first chapter, but I can tell it is going to be great. So, in a very long-winded manner, I'm recommending this book to anyone who likes Chabon, video games, or great stories.
