I like the idea because, this way we get to see the whole movie. As opposed to the desperately cut down "viewer friendly version".
And I'm also a sucker for hanging on the edge endings. Almost wet myself with that Matrix Reloaded ending. They just get you so hyped up and then leave you there. Anticipation. You get all syked for the sequel. This could actually turn out awesome...if done right.
