Thanks for the advice. That's what I was looking for was mature feedback. Not little punks who like to get on here and try and find a reason to slam everything they can. Thanks again for the advice. I was wanting to use posters and things and have my main character as a obsessed fan not plagarize Kevin. Finally I have many scripts that are very original.
: Speaking as some one who gets paid based on his creativity, and his ability to write, I have to tell you something that your T.V. instructer should have told you to begin with.
: Anyone in Kevin's position, or anyone else at View Askew for that matter, has to be extremely careful what they read and what they respond to. This is because of our litigous society.
: You see, they may read you piece, think it's shitye, but maybe some day they do a flick with a character similar tyo one of yours. Well here wwe go with the lawsuits.
: Also, it is not their position to give you permission on wether or not to write your script and submit it to anything. Write it. Submit it. Take it from there. If it breaks the rules, some one will point this out to you.
: Also, keep in mind that your letters and emails and faxes and what not all go intop the same pile of, OMG we can't read these. To be honest, they are protecting themselves as much as they are you.
: It is also possible that your correspondance comes of simply as fan mail. In which case they won't respond to all of it.
: And lastly, creativity is a gift. It is a difficult thing to cultivate in a person. Try working on your own thing. Make it yours. Don't use others ideas, put 'em in your own words and scenario and expect the person who came up with those charactors to bless you.
: Do your own work. Then maybe people like Kevin will hear your ideas and help you make it happen.
