Who among you sent in art samples or writing samples for Marvel Epic?

What did you submit?

Have you heard back yet either way?

I sent in two scripts: one about my original Johnny Tripod characters battling Nazis and one that was basically my way of pitting Year One Batman up against Punisher without needing DC's permission.

I haven't heard anything back either way... and since I sent the first one out like a month ago and that Epic interview from Newsarama said they get out the first-look rejections in like two weeks... I'm hoping that means I'm at least getting a second pass. Which would be sweet.

Also sent out my brother's entry, a very weird existential story about the first man on Mars. It's very... Omni. If Epic is sticking by the idea of wanting to get a lot of genres out there, the hard speculative sci-fi genre should be covered by that.

Give me your thoughts.

Mike
