Hi, I'm a newcomer to this board, and a funny thing happened about 20 minutes ago. Just after I registered and was looking at some of the goodies, I felt a small shock go through my arm and smelled burning plastic. I jumped away from the computer ('cause I accidentally took too big of a whiff of the fumes and felt a little light-headed) and my boyfriend took notice and yanked the power cable out of the wall as fast as possible. It turns out the cheap speakers that came with my computer (which happens to be no more than about two to three weeks old) got a touch over-heated and, I guess, were having some kind of meltdown.

Beware poorly manufactured audio devices!!

Anyway, beyond my bizarre experience of this evening, I'd just like to say, though I've only recently been introduced to Kevin Smith's work in a big way, I'm really pleased. The films are funny, but also very insightful into human nature in a way that a lot of people can understand. I can't wait to see Jersey Girl.

Hope that didn't sound too cheesy,

Meg
