So I was planning on getting Radiohead tickets for me and a friend today, when they went on sale at 10 am. NO problem. Then I notice on LA's alternative rock station KROQ, that if you sign up on their website, you will be given a special "pre-sale deal"

So i sign up, get my code and get ready to buy the tickets at 10 on friday, when they went on sale for presale. But I was at work, and my boss made me go to hollywood to pick up film stock. I came back at 10:30.

I go on the computer no later than 10:40

I find no tickets on ticketmaster.com

NOne

I try again

Nothing

WHat the fuck is going on?!

SO then I decide to just try 1 ticket. After trying for about 5 times, I finally get one ticket, way up in the back

tickets were 50 bucks +bullshit ticketmaster charages. I said fuck it, its not worth it

I let em go.

Now maybe, that presale thing was just for a limited number of seats, and when they go on sale for real, a lot more will open up. BUt from the way i read it, it appeared ALL the seats were availabe for pre sale.

Now I know radiohead is a big band, and I know they havent been to LA in 2 years, but there is no fuckin way in heaven Radiohead can sell out the HOllywood BOwl in a 40 minute pre sale. Right? ITs not like they are the Beatles with the Harrison and Lennon brought back to life.

This is fuckin outrageous. For some of these concerts, you have to be the first one to buy tickets or you just don't get in

Is this because of ticket brokers buying em up and radio stations buying em and then giving them away in contests?

When I got tickets for ZWan, I called the second they went on sale. The guy told me balcolny was all they had. What the fuck?!

This pisses me off so much
