I have two questions:

1.) Were the two main charactors of Chasing Amy named after the charactors of Catcher in the Rye: Ed Bankey-Bankey Edwards and Holden- Holden McNeal

2.) What do those hand symbols mean at the end of Chasing Amy? There's like three different explanations for them that i've thought up and i'm really just not sure about them.
