I'm leaning towards the transfer, but...The shots that had the artifacts were ones that could've been shot from the concert floor, where it would be preferable to have a couple of cheaper digital cameras as opposed to film cameras amongst the audience.

If Kevin was willing to spend the money on CGI sheep and whatnot, I would assume that spending the time deinterlacing the digital footage to make it look like film (I'm simplify the process) would be just as possible...of course, I think Kevin's on record as saying that he's not a big DV fan, so again I would assume it's from the transfer...I'll check the DVD at some point...

: Its probably from whatever the digital source your cable provider is using. I doubt Kevin Shot that single part on DV. But from looking at it, it doesn't look DV.

: Keep in mind that regardless if he shoots on film or not when its transferred to DVD or Digital at all there is the chance of artifcats appearing in the digital transfer (Have several DVDs where there are blocky artifacts when there is a light gradiant moving from black to gray to a lighter color).
