I've been looking for someone to b.s. about comics with. Care to partake in a discussion? Perhaps when comics were at their peak, why they fell, the status now; stuff of the sort. I just bought about a 500 page book about the history of Marvel which I am looking forward to reading. Post some thoughts, and I will repost later, I have to go not be a nerd with my girlfriend for a while, but I can't wait to return. My AIM is CHRISakaMOSES is you would like to continue it onto there later on. Cheers.
: But as for me, music and comics are my big nerd stops. However, I try to never push my extensive research on anybody. I realized long ago that most people are not interested about how much more I know then they do. It's boring for me and them. Still, if someone shows real interest, I love filling them in on stuff. If you think you might be turning someone on to something that you really dig, it can be a great feeling. I used to be a guitar teacher. When one of my students would inquire about certain scene's, it was a real rush for me. To know that they were going to go out that week and pick up something I recommended felt wonderful.
: Now, in "High Fidelity" the clerks are nerds. But notice how the store owner could care less? Of course he has a buisness to run. So his tactics are more practical. But in less someone asks, keep your nerd to yourself.
