No artifacts on the DVD. Not even at a 1X zoom to approximate 4:3 TV ratio.
(of course, not to pointlessly argue, but obviously I wasn't saying that any hypothetical DV footage was "100% like [the] film" footage. Clearly I noticed a flaw in the footage which made me think that it may have been DV -- even though I was fairly certain that it was all shot on film)
