: Free health care, affordable education, less insane drug laws... a nation that actually QUESTIONS when it's leaders decide to blow up a country for no reason.
Its a good country when alls said and done, but it ain't perfect! The free health care is good if you only have minor injuries, but in the case of surgery etc the paying customer still gets special treatment, ie - you don't have to wait 2 years for that op you desperately need. Education is pretty much in the same boat - classrooms are overcrowded and under staffed - next year my son will be in a class of just over thirty children and his year one group will be mixed in with the reception children, who will need so much attention, hes likely to fall back a bit. But on the other hand, this is a good thing - he started school at the age of 4, which is far too young in my opinion. This last year he has learnt to read, write and do basic maths, which is good, but its a lot of pressure for a 4 year old (he was only 5 last month.) He also gets home work. This is because our government cares more about its statistics and exam results than the pupils themselves.
I have no arguments where the footballs concerned.
