I miss Optimus Prime

You know, I would love to see a live-action Transformers movie. This used to seem foolish, but CG technology can turn any dream into a reality these days. I would love to see Optimus Prime and Megatron duking it out in Times Square or something.

If they ever make a live-action Transformers picture, I hope they stick to the original (generation 1) characters. Don't even get me started on that Beast Wars crap. That said, I wouldn't mind a few new characters based on up-to-date vehicles. A Decepticon who transforms into a Dodge Viper would be wicked cool. Or maybe a stealth bomber.

Any thoughts, fellow cinefiles?
