im trying to make a mix cd and i need help

i was taking cds i have and trying to make a mixed cd, but for some reason i cant take like a track 4 from one cd and also from another and copy it to the mixed cd, because once there is one track 4 copied another can't be, and i tried to rename it to something else, but i couldnt, does anyone know how to help?
