: As per requested, here is the final poll before I take a long overdue week off. Enjoy. I'll miss you all (snicker).
: 1. Where was the best vacation you ever had?
it's probably a tie between meeting a group of folks i'd met online in austin, texas (it was a really beautiful time to be there - late october plus we all connected really well) and my sister's wedding in wellseley, mass. - again, perfect weather and my entire family flew out (7 siblings plus in-laws and nieces and nephews) it was really tremendous.
: 2. Where was the worst? Why do you consider it the worst?
i dunno. probably some godawful family car trip we took when i was little and have since blocked from memory.
: 3. Have you ever had a moment in life where everything seemed to go into slow motion (i.e. a car crash, a beautiful girl flicking her hair, etc)? Describe one such moment.
one time when i was little, i was riding in the car with my mom and she turned and ended up going the wrong way down a one-way street. severe panic. luckily it wasn't a busy street so we were able to maneuver out fairly quickly. classic comic moment: after it happened, my mom turned to me and said, "don't tell your father about this."
: 4. What term or phrase (either proper or slang) do you wish you could do away with the most? Any particular reason?
at the starbucks i go to by my house, the early twenty-something girls that work there have the truly annoying habit of calling each other "dude". not right.
: 5. What the's most unsual food or meat you've ever had? Well, how was it?
venison. vile. and i'm a carnivore, too!
: 6. Oldie but goodie: House is on fire...save one possession...what'll it be?
i guess my ibook, it's got all my porn.
: 7.If you could go back anywhere in history to witness an event (but not participate in), where in history would you go? Your birth? The Beatles? A Battle? Where???
this is so cliche but probably hendrix at woodstock or the monterey pop festival. any date on the stones 1972 american tour.
: 8.I'm cutting this poll short because this one is a tiny more involved. Take a cartoon from any time and turn it into a religious philosophy (kinda like Matt Damon did with Alice in Wonderland in "Dogma"). Just make up a few lines of how this cartoon pertains to any religion. Say what the characters represent and stuff. Bull out some good bullshit. Please don't skimp on this question as I'm trying to prove a point.
i must let trent down, now......
: Thanks!
