Clerks, Mallrats and Chasing Amy all got off relatively lightly. However:

Dogma - outrage from Catholic pressure groups / backlash from The Last Temptation Of Christ haters (I might be strecthing a point here)

JASBSB - outrage from homosexual rights pressure groups / backlash from American Pie haters

Jersey Girl - outrage from anti-Jennifer Lopez pressure groups / backlash from Gigli

This was meant to be a well thought out and well argued post. Having read it through, I don't think it makes sense, except possibly quite obliquely.
