OK... that was the worst piece of shit I'd seen in a long time. It was in no way the fault of any of the actors. I thought Ben and Jen did a great job with what they had to work with. The kid was great... Pacino and Walken did there thing... but the movie was shit. Terrible dialogue and way too much of it.
And what moron billed this a romantic comedy? Those are like feel good movies. This was NOT a feel good movie... It was actually very dark. I mean- when Pacino shot Lewis and the brains splattered all over the fish tank and got inside and they show a fish eat it... sooo fuckin un-needed. And the description of the corellation between the mouth and vagina??? Jen performed as well as anyone could have done with that horrendous dialogue.
It was just so monumentally bad on so many levels...
I wonder what possesed them to do this? Maybe the script read better than it was relayed onto the screen.
Anyway... just my thoughts. It had nothing to do with it being a Bennifer flick. They were good and I thought they had chemistry. It was just a terrible, horrible, waste of film and money.
