I really wouldn't do it justice. But basically, Jay's mom and sister both did herion, I think. It's just sort of in his blood. Kevin once tried to keep him off the stuff by getting up every morning at 7am (or earlier) to take Jay to the mehtadone clinic. He'd then drive around with him just to keep his mind occupied and off drugs. Johnson (I think) once gave Jay the task of getting rare action figures for the Stash and so they would go to all the toy store openings so Jay could get these figures.
Anyway, at some point, Kevin paid for Jay to go to a very swank rehab facility in Cali but Jay bailed out on it. I think that was after Afleck joined him there for a while. The most recent thing to happen is that Jay was forced into a not-so-nice rehab back in Jersey because of some warrents or something. Either way, if he bailed out this time, he was going to jail for a very long time. This new place even made him cut his hair! I think he's supposed to be out soon, though.
Like I said, Kevin would tell it MUCH better. The story took like an hour when he told it.
