I think your style would be perfect for this book. I was thinking of a picture for each line. (The print is huge, I guess I figured huge print = easier reading.) I really am using your review. I might have to edit the part about punching you in the nuts, but I don't want to. Do you think 4 yr. olds should read about nut-punching? I'm so torn.
: Anyway, if you like, I'll knock up a few crappy pics for you. I'm a lazy, scum-bag, unemployed student on holiday, and it'll give me something to do to fill the few hours when I'm awake.
: : as I was picturing the illustrations in my head, they came up in Father Flash style.
: : P.S. I'm using your review on the back cover.
: : : : today. We've decided to start teaching the youngest to read. I think we need a review. Here it is:
: : : : Meg, Sam, and Ham
: : : : This is Meg.
: : : : Meg met Sam.
: : : : Meg liked Sam.
: : : : Sam liked ham.
: : : : Meg and Sam ate some ham.
: : : : Sam died.
: : : : That ham was bad ham.
: : : : The End
: : : : (I should mention, Sam's untimely demise came about when my daughter got angry that I said we had to use all small words. I guess she felt I was stifling her creative process.)
: : : : We're currently looking for an illustrator.
: : : -- Gripping through-out 'Meg, Sam and Ham' delivers on EVERY level. The feel-good hit of the summer, it'll punch you in the nuts with it's awesomness so hard, you'll probably die. But die happily, so you will.
: : : And let me illustrate it, I'm an MS Paint master.
