I recently graduated from high school. My two best friends are each going to seperate colleges from me, them a little south of here, me, in my hometown, and are leaving in about a week or two. In a wonderful twist of fate, they both sprouted girlfriends, and as they are leaving soon, want to spend time with those most important to them... their girlfriends. Should I then, feel pissed off that two guys I've known for seven years are overlooking me in favor of girls they've known for six months? I mean, should I also feel good about them having girlfriends? I mean, i want them to be happy, so if they are happy, should I be happy? In addition, what should I do to remedy this situation, to make myself feel better about it all?
I feel like I've been thrown away in favor of two mounds of fatty tissue and a hole.
