: 1. Titanic. I remember being in very early grade school, and little girls were bragging to their friends about seeing this movie seven times to their friends six. Dear sweet lord.
: 2. Lord of the Rings. I actually liked it, liked the second one, and am going to see the third one... it's just overrated. Why? It's BORING AS ALL HELL.
: 3. X-Men. The first one. Once again, I liked it, it's just held in too high regard. It's actually not a very good interpritation of the comic (nobody seems to notice it follows almost NONE of the guidelines set by the books), it's just the first comic film to use modern effects the way they're supposed to be used.
: 4. Harry Potter. Mainly because rather than it being a series of quaint little books for little kids to read, which would've been fine if that's what it stayed, it became a pehnomenon, and that can ruin anything.
: 5. Uhh, I don't know, lemme see... out of ideas... (closes eyes and picks random film) Crossroads. Why? I dunno, I pciked it randomly. Gimme a break.
the first movie was just so fuckin long and boring. god it was a rather pitful experience. made more so by the seats being uncomfortable and the screen being shitty quality. fuckin cruise ship theaters
