Ya know... that's a very good question. I think if I was a celebrity, I would value my privacy and hope that fans would too. However, if I was like Kevin- a celebrity in the comic world- and walking around a comic convention, I would expect to be stopped every five minutes.
So, if you were just out on the street, would you care if a rabid fan came up and forcefully engaged you in conversation, Kevin?
