: I mean, I didn't hate Kids or anything - I just found it to be unrealistic. A lot of that
stuff does happen to kids - just not all in one friggin day.
: But my main concern is that the young teenagers who do see this movie may want
to emulate what goes on. I'm not highly moral by any means - nor do I think all
teenagers are that dumb to follow blindly along to things - but since it is a time
when a lot of them do feel a lot of peer pressure, I just hope they don't see the
behavior depicted as acceptable or normal.
: Damn, now I sound like my grandma.
~ with the fact that a thirteen year old can write a movie. Call me grandma as well
because I sure as hell didn't have that thought of achievement in my thirteen year
old brain.
Your fears are only slightly justified. Young adults are much more desensitized day
by day due to the mega amounts of information that they are exposed to. It's
reaching an exponential level of light years per day. This film will probably jolt
parents into looking harder at their children, which is a good thing.
Remember it's rated R.
