Fletch Won (or lost?)

So does anyone have any concrete news on Fletch Won? I've heard and read about 1000 pieces of news about it since Kevin was first attached to the project and everyone from Jason Lee (A lot of VA and Fletch fans, myself included, would love to see that) to Affleck to Jimmy Fallon (??!) slated to play the great I.R. Fletcher. I'd really like to see a Fletch movie written and directed by Kevin because he's the kind of guy who could give the source material its due respect, while still keeping people who liked the rest of the movie franchise interested. So any word on casting? production?...or is Mirimax letting the option run out?
