He's a comedic genius, so stick with what you're good at. I mean it's cool to try new things, but if it doesn't work out then there's nothing wrong with making movies that become instant classics. I wouldn't mind being in that situation. It would be a no brainer to me. I'm sick of funny-ass people trying to prove how deep they are and what fine actors they are...in my humble opinion it's much harder to make people laugh than to make them cry. Case in point I cry at long distance commercials like twice a week. anyway that's my rant.
