Enterprise - "Anomaly" camera work

Anyone here watch Enterprise last Wednesday? When Archer throws the alien into the airlock, the camerawork gets real weird. It's almost if it's playing faster than it needs to. I don't know what the technical term for it is, but it's an awesome effect.

IIRC, there was very similar camerawork during the rape scene in Vulgar.
