if your looking for the sword right at the beginning, you have to crawl through a hole on the plateau in hokiru forest
to talk to princess Zelda, first you have to complete the deku tree level, then after you have gotten the treasure, find zeldas castle, which is located outside hyrule town. but, theres a little metal gear solid style sneaking section you have to get thru to gain access to the castle.
