Isabel took out a quarter of a mile of boardwalk down in my hometown in Maryland (Havre de Grace - Duck Decoy Capital of the World), flooded the park and all of the areas by the water, flooded out a whole bunch of really expensive new townhouses (that dumbasses built out on stilts in the Chesapeake Bay), my cousin and her dog were evacuated by boat at 4:00 this morning because the water was up to her doorstep and rising...the majority of my family is still without power...a tree crushed my grandmother's boyfriend's shed and there's a police cruiser floating aimlessly on the main drag in town apparently.

A lady in a muu-muu on tv actually said "it was pandelerium," so yes, they are hicks down in good ole MD. In the city (Baltimore), some 1/2 million customers are still without power and the Inner Harbor and Fells Point sustained a lot of flood damage...lots of shops by the water lost everything.

Meanwhile, I'm up here in Tax-a-chusetts where all it did was rain today...Isabel didn't even knock out the humidity here.
