I was wondering if it would be alright with Kevin Smith if I could please use his characters Dante, Jay n Silent Bob and Randal in a fan-fictional crossover with Bill and Ted and Rufus in an inspired narrative about myself for a college composition class.
The essay is labeled "High Hopes, Hard Times" and will represent my ambitious attempt at screenwriting and film-making. The paper is due very soon, so I'm emailing Kevin only. If you decide to decline my offer at being added as a credit in the "bibliography", you can (please) and I will rewrite the essay to not include any mention of them.
The reason I chose your characters is because the essay is about nonviolence and I consider Silent Bob to be a very trustworthy representative, because of his popular non-agressive routine. I'm also more into drawing and writing is lesswise my forté, so I'm not really into writing anything at all unless it has to do with film.
