I've seen it. It is visually beuatiful and technically brilliant, but dramatically dull and boring as hell.
I think the one-shot concept is meant to convey the ever flowing course of history or something, but mainly it works as a gimmick to keep you from noticing that nothing of any real interest happens during the film.
I disagree that it is a "lazy" way to do things. Think about it. A 90 minute movie with literally thousands of actors, over 800 speaking parts, and ONE CONTINUOUS SHOT. There was no yelling "cut" or "that's a wrap, we'll fix it in post" with this method. If they fucked up 85 minutes into the shoot, they would have had dump all that footage and start all over. A ballsy way to make a film, to be sure. But once the novelty of the gimmick wears off....it's nap time.
